Clearing your browser cache on a regular basis helps with stability and performance when using ABCmouse. For steps on clearing the cache, select the browser and device you’re using from the list below:
Chrome – Mac and Windows
- At the top-right, click More.
- The More icon is displayed as either three vertical dots or an arrow icon pointing up, depending on your browser version.
- Click More Tools.
- Click Clear Browsing Data.
- Select a time range. To delete everything, select All time.
- Check the boxes for Cookies and other site data and Cached images and files.
- Click Clear data.
Edge – Windows
- Click the Hub icon.
- The Hub icon is displayed as a star with three horizontal lines.
- Click History in the left panel.
- Select Clear History.
- Check the boxes for Cookies and saved website data and Cached data and files.
- Leave everything else unchecked.
- Click Clear.
Firefox – Mac
- Click the History menu.
- This looks like books on a shelf, and is located at the top of the screen.
- Select Clear Recent History.
- In the drop-down for Time range to clear, select Everything.
- Check off the box for Cache and Cookies.
- Leave everything else unchecked.
- Click OK to confirm.
- Restart or refresh Firefox.
Firefox – Windows
- Click the Firefox menu, which is found in the top-right corner.
- Select History.
- Select Clear Recent History.
- In the drop-down for Time range to clear, select Everything.
- Check the box for Cache and Cookies.
- Leave everything else unchecked.
- Click Clear Now.
- Restart or refresh Firefox.
Safari – Mac
- Click Safari in the menu bar.
- Select Preferences.
- Select the Privacy tab.
- Choose Manage Website Data.
- Click Remove All.
- Click Remove Now to confirm.
